Who we are
Noteithere is an app for iPhone and Mac, published on Apple's App Store. The publisher named on Noteithere's App Store page (“we”) is responsible for the app. For anything about privacy, write to privacy@noteithere.net.
What Noteithere handles
- Messages you share or paste into Noteithere — only those, and only when you do it. Noteithere never reads your Zalo, WhatsApp, email or any other app by itself.
- The reminders you save: title, date and time, place, people, booking details, customers and companies, and notes.
- Your name and email, if you enter them in your profile — used as the sender of invitations you send.
- Sharing groups and recent contacts: the names and email addresses of other people that you add.
- Your plan and how many AI Pro Reads you have used this month.
- A Claude API key, if you save one in Settings.
- Your preferences, such as language, appearance and alert times.
How a message is read
Every result in the app shows which of the two ways was used.
Basic Read happens entirely on your device. The message is not sent anywhere, and it doesn't use an AI Pro Read. When your AI Pro Reads are used up — the free trial includes 3 in total — or when no AI is available, messages get a Basic Read.
AI Pro Read. When your plan has AI Pro Reads left and AI is available, the message you shared — together with the current date and time and the app's language — is sent over an encrypted connection directly from your device to Anthropic, PBC, the company behind Claude, which returns the structured reminder. It does not pass through a Noteithere server, and we don't keep a copy. Depending on how complex the message is, one of two Claude models reads it; either way it counts as one AI Pro Read. Until Noteithere's own service is ready, AI Pro Reads only work when a Claude API key is saved in the app, and the request is made with that key.
Anthropic processes this text to answer the request. Under its commercial terms it does not use it to train its models by default, and it keeps it only for a limited time under its own retention policy. Anthropic's privacy policy is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Where your data is stored
Your reminders, sharing groups, profile, plan, AI Pro Read count, free-trial status and preferences are stored in Noteithere's storage on each device, shared with Noteithere's widget and share extension. A saved Claude API key is kept in Apple's Keychain, and so is your free-trial status (start date, AI Pro Reads and exports used), so that deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't restart the trial. Noteithere has no account and no server and doesn't sync between your devices. Your device backups (for example iCloud Backup) may include this data, under Apple's terms. If you turn on Apple Calendar in Settings, reminders are also added to your Calendar, which may sync through iCloud, Google or other accounts you have set up there.
Other services Noteithere uses
- Anthropic (Claude) — for AI Pro Reads, as described above.
- Apple Maps — to estimate the travel time between two back-to-back reminders today or tomorrow, the place names of those reminders are sent to Apple's Maps service. No account is involved; Apple's privacy policy applies.
- Apple — App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details. Reminders' notifications are scheduled on your device.
- Your own email app — when you share a reminder (see below).
- No analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and no third-party code libraries. If you allow it in your device settings, Apple may share crash reports with app developers.
When you share a reminder
Sharing only happens when you choose it. Noteithere prepares an email with a calendar invitation and a Google Calendar link in your own email app, and you press Send. The people you invite receive the reminder's details; if someone opens the Google Calendar link, those details go to Google. Nothing is added to anyone's calendar unless they accept it. Sharing groups contain other people's names and email addresses, so only add people you have a reason to contact. Files you export — a calendar file or an Excel file — go wherever you choose to send or save them.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information.
- Show you ads or share your data with advertisers.
- Read messages you haven't shared with Noteithere.
- Add events to other people's calendars without their acceptance.
- Use your messages to train AI models.
Deleting your data
Settings → Manage Data → Delete all my data erases, on that device: your reminders, badges, profile name and email, saved sharing groups, recent contacts and a saved Claude API key. It keeps your display preferences, your plan, this month's AI Pro Read count and your free-trial status, so allowances keep working; these contain no messages. Deleting the app removes everything Noteithere stored on that device, except the small free-trial record in the Keychain. Do this on each device where you use Noteithere.
Deleting cannot take back what has already left Noteithere: emails and invitations already sent, events already added to a calendar, files already exported, messages already processed by Anthropic (kept under Anthropic's own policy), or copies in device or iCloud backups controlled by Apple. Cancelling a subscription is separate and done in your Apple subscription settings.
You can also ask us what data we hold about you or ask us to delete it. Because Noteithere has no server, we don't hold a copy of your reminders or messages.
Changes to this policy
If Noteithere adds accounts, syncing between devices or its own service for AI Pro Reads, this policy will be updated before that change reaches you, and the app will tell you.
